I love that so many people are embracing photography now. It’s something I’ve always been fascinated with but never had all the stars aligned properly in order to delve into it myself.
WELL, ahohohohoho, not so anymore! My hubby aligned the stars and badabingbadaboom, we are now the proud owners of a Canon Rebel XTi, which, ya know, is cool.
So, of course, now I’m haunting various bloggers’ photography pages looking for helpful hints and tips and tricks and composition ideas cuz right now? All we know is that we want those pictures that are focused on our kid, only with a blurry background. TECHNICAL STUFF HERE, PEOPLE. I need to figure out what all these fancy terms mean, ie: ISO and aperture. Just so you know, my skill level is that of a person who just had to double check how to spell aperture.
I, however, am not one to wait for silly things like instructions. Oh, no. That would require patience and a waiting period of a day or two and who the hell wants to do that? NOT ME.
I dive in with two feet, an old pair of jeans and a ponytail.

SO. Not bad, huh? Much better shots than with a point and shoot (though I still love my Canon Powershot and think point and shoots are still glorious creations) but I have a lot of work to do before I can say I know what I’m doing.
Also, I make pretty babies.
Also, my dogs make pretty babies.
Also, wear long pants when laying in the grass because SPIDERS EWW.
